She Sings! Women’s Choir is a 40 member auditioned women’s choir located in Kingston, Ontario. The choir consists of enthusiastic and dedicated women who, although diverse in age, background, career and musical training, all share a love of choral music. The choir supports new works, performs varied styles and highlights guest artists and living composers.

Under the direction of composer Martha Hill Duncan since September 2004, the choir has premiered and recorded many new treble choir works. These have included works by Martha Hill Duncan, Lavina Kell Parker, David Roe, Rebecca Oswald and many others. In 2015, they traveled to Stratford, Ontario to perform several new works written especially for them by the composers’ collective Mmmm. Highlights over the last 10 years have included trips to New York City to perform with Dr. Virginia Davidson and The New York Treble Singers, numerous collaborative concerts and guest artist appearances with Canadian and US vocal and choral talent.

In 2014, with their pianist, Kristin Rae, the choir released their second CD, Lady Icicle. The 2015 -16 season marks a season of celebration and collaborations starting with their Birthday Barn Bash, 10 Years of She Sings! with many guest artists, including the band Fireweed, accordionist Jan Le Clair and singer/musicians Kim Pollard, Darrell Bryan, Patty Smith, Emily McPherson and Ross Chiasson. Joint concerts are also planned with The Kingston Townsmen Chorus and Eve.
